Software company AppointmentPlus was renewing its website security certificates, which would bring the company in compliance with TLS 1.2. In advance of the rollout, we published a blog post aimed at educating prospects about the global shift to this new security protocol. A few posts written for Hawk Incentives to target B-to-B prospects, one geared toward the home building and interior design industry, one aimed at pet pharma manufacturers, and one targeting auto-aftermarket retailers. The ask was to write a post targeting marketing professionals within each industry that would communicate to them the value of using rebates as a promotional strategy, while working in some references to Hawk's recent proprietary research data. Of primary importance was referencing keywords and key phrases that would attract the right search traffic. Writing the posts demanded some industry research as well.

Six-part blog series on customer self-service: Lead-gen, thought leadership & SEO
This series of posts for AppointmentPlus promoted the growing trend in customer self-service technology. AppointmentPlus software had never been promoted as a self-service solution, but it made sense to me to try it, as the software meets all the criteria. In addition, I had begun to disqualify certain service providers based on their lack of self-service options. I knew that if I was using this as a criteria for patronizing a business, others had hit upon the same strategy long before I did.

Blog posts featuring video snippets
Following Hawk's second-annual Client Council event, I was asked to review video of all the presentations and find snippets that could be featured in groups under a common theme on the company's blog. Here are a couple of those pages. I did six in all, each with an average of 4-5 video snippets. Creating each post involved a lot of viewing and reviewing video to find the perfect segments.
